Kids Against Hunger has three long-term objectives:

1. Create a national food packaging and distribution network of large regional packaging divisions and local packaging satellites.
2. Package and deliver 100 million meals by 2010 to hungry children throughout the world.
3. Deliver the food produced by Kids Against Hunger through partnerships with humanitarian organizations of high integrity and capability.

To achieve these goals, is necessary to duplicate our efforts by extending our packaging network. One way to do so is to set up food packaging satellites across the USA. This enables local teams to replicate the efforts of the corporate headquarters in New Hope, MN. Each packaging satellite is a separate 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Some are mobile packaging units, constructed of retired city buses, and others are full-sized packaging warehouses. Another approach is to establish regional Kids Against Hunger divisions strategically located across the U.S. They are linked to smaller, volunteer-managed satellites in all 50 U.S. states. They have a higher capacity and are managed full-time by the corporate headquarters. This combination of satellites and divisions improves Kids Against Hunger's purchasing power and logistics and enables us to extend our food packaging network more effectively.
